Biography

I am 38 years old, I live in San Mateo, CA. I am married and have a cat. I grew up in Northern Arizona but much of my family lives in Northern California going back several generations. I am an artist and make oil paintings and black and white film photographs. 

I also enjoy tennis, sewing, hiking, reading, tending my many houseplants, going to the Saturday farmer's market with my husband, and remodeling my bathroom in a Art Deco/Late Victorian style. I have a plot at the community garden and love the company of plants, especially flowers and identifying wild plants. I enjoy viewing wildlife, mainly birds along the bay and elsewhere on trips, and undersea animals by snorkeling. I love period architecture, furniture and crafts. I am a fan of radio and love college radio and classical and jazz. I am very much a breakfast person. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design and I used to design lighting in professional theatres for about 10 years. I have an AS degree in Interior Design from Cañada College and have taken many art courses and continue to.
